On-campus workshops

Start with a campus workshop.

Give a class or department its first hands-on session before planning a permanent lab. Choose a format around your students’ experience.

How steady can a nano drone hover?

Drona’s aerial robotics challenge asked teams to stabilise an indoor drone using onboard sensors and then command precise 10–20 cm movements.

Setting up

From proposal to first class.

  1. 1

    Share your teaching plan

Tell us the grades or departments, batch size, room available and what you want students to build.

  2. 2

    Review the configuration

Compare the kits, software access, room requirements, training and spares in an itemised proposal.

  3. 3

    Prepare your educators

Set up the room, train the nominated educators and schedule a first supervised session.

Planning details

Questions from institutions.

Can we use an existing STEM lab or ATL?

Yes. Share the room layout and the equipment you already have. An ATL upgrade adds team kits and teaching resources. A full school lab also includes a modular flight arena.

How much space and equipment should we plan for?

The modular arena in the full school packages measures 15 × 10 × 10 ft. Allow additional space for worktables, coding devices, storage and supervised charging. College layouts are sized to the room, timetable and number of teams.

What if our teachers are new to drones?

Training starts with assembly, calibration and classroom operation. Full school packages include two days for two instructors. ATL packages include online training for two educators. A college proposal sets out its faculty development scope.

What happens if a part breaks?

Pluto has replaceable parts, including motors, guards and propellers. The proposal identifies the spares, repair support and service terms for your package.

Can we host only a workshop?

Yes. Share your campus city, batch size and preferred dates to plan a student workshop. If you are booking as an individual, see upcoming public events.
